Penguin Fire Services is a Melbourne based fire protection company, offering fire protection products and services throughout Victoria (see Our Services). Penguin Fire Services was originally established in 2005 by Steven Bourke to offer project management, fire system design and drafting solutions for other fire protection companies in Victoria. An energetic, skilled and highly motivated individual, Steven has helped these businesses complete their fire protection projects with great success since starting operations. Steven started in the fire protection industry as an apprentice fire sprinkler fitter in 1998. After completing his apprenticeship to become a registered sprinkler fitter. Steven's success as a leading hand and his determination to progress in the industry led to other opportunities. Showing drive, ambition, great computer sklls and a willingness to learn, along with the guidance from an industry expert designer, Steven progressed to become a designer draftperson of fire sprinkler systems. With Steven's background in the industry, taking on project management roles was a natural progression. Having completed many projects with great success, it was not long before Steven decided to start his own fire protection business. With the addition of Ben Kleverlaan as a business partner (2007), Penguin Fire Services is now offering fire protection packages direct to the client, yet they continue to help many small businesses who wish to use our services to help complete their fire protection projects. Ben Kleverlaan, another highly motivated and skilled individual boasts an incredible portfolio including fire installation's on many of the largest construction projects in Australia. Ben has worked in many challenging roles in the fire protection industry throughout his career, and his knowledge and understanding of the construction process together with his experiences in the industry is an invaluable asset to the Penguin Fire Services team. Combining with Steven in 2007, Penguin Fire Services, we now offer the complete fire protection solutions direct to the client. With the background's of both Steven and Ben, you can see they have the technical knowledge to complete any fire protection project and with the addition of a business manager to guide the business in a forward direction, they have the right combination to succeed.
